It is completely natural and rare. Muga ghisa is slightly rougher than muga silk. The color of muga ghisa is golden hue. A ghisa shawl is a handwoven textile traditionally crafted in Assam, India, using ghisa silk. These shawls are often used for everyday wear and known for their durability and comfort. Handloom effects – All handwoven pieces are unique in a way can be termed as ‘one & only’ as it differs from weaver to weaver. Again, one weavers’ state of mind at the time of weaving leads the beating that shapes the texture of the fabric. Handloom defects – Handloom Products may have slightly different shading in a single piece due to different thickness of hand reeled yarns and weavers beating techniques. There may be uneven salvage or missing threads due to the nature of hand weaving.
